The Department of Nonpublic School Services supports students attending hundreds of nonpublic schools statewide.The department also manages programs made available through the federal government’s Individuals With Disabilities Act (IDEA). The Department of Nonpublic School Services is also responsible for the statewide support services received by Charter Schools.

All Nonpublic School Services employees and consultants are certified and professionally trained in their field, and regularly participate in professional development opportunities.
