The NuView Academy provides a free, appropriate, public education (FAPE), in the least restrictive environment (LRE) for students exhibiting severe symptoms of diagnosis of Depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Conduct,Thought or Anxiety Disorder.
The program is a collaboration between the Educational Services Commission of New Jersey and Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care. The ESCNJ provides all education programming and coordinates referral procedures. Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care provides the psychiatric and therapeutic components for reaching goals to ensure student success. The NuView Academy operates from 8:30 a.m.. - 2:15 p.m., Monday through Friday, 48 weeks per year.
